Shri Satish Gupta, Govt. Advocate for the State on advance copy. Hon'ble Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Order On Board 22/04/2016 This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the respondents to make payment at the present market value of the land. 2.

On petitioner's own showing, the land acquisition proceeding was drawn way back in the year 1975. There is nothing on record to show that the petitioner dissatisfied with the compensation, sought reference under Section 18 of the then applicable Land Acquisition Act, 1984. Several decades thereafter, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking payment of compensation at higher rate. The

petition is as misconceived as it could be.

3.

The petition is accordingly dismissed.
