Heard.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the election of respondents No. 6 and 7 on the post of representative of the Primary Society is illegal and bad in law.

Mr. Shashank Thakur, Learned State Counsel submits that the petitioner has an effective remedy of raising the dispute under Section 64(2)(v) of the Cooperative Societies Act, 1960. Therefore, the petitioner be relegated to avail remedy available to him under the law.

Be that as it may, the petitioner has a remedy of raising the dispute before the Registrar, Co-operative Society. This Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter.

With the aforesaid observations, the petition is accordingly dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to raise the dispute before the competent authority/forum, strictly in accordance with law. Sd/- (Sanjay K. Agrawal) Judge Priyanka
