Petitioner has made his point by filing present Public Interest Litigation that every elected Government has an obligation to abide by the law. 2.

What has aggrieved the present Petitioner is inclusion of photographs of certain political persons in the Government programs for which advertisement has been issued by the Director of publication, which according to the Petitioner is in teeth of the decision rendered by the

Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Common Cause vs. Union of India and Ors reported in (2015) 7 SCC 1.

Learned Advocate General has been gracious enough to accept that a folly seems to have been committed by certain subordinate authorities and that he has already made his point of view known to such authorities and assurances have been given that they will be extra careful in future whenever such advertisements are now issued, especially relating to Government programs.

In view of the above, nothing further is required to be done in the present writ application because the Petitioner has succeeded in reminding the State authorities of the legal obligations which they have to follow in terms of the decision of the Hon'ble Apex Court. 5.
