Hon'ble Shri Justice Sanjay K. Agrawal Order On Board 10/08/2017 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made representation before the respondent authorities for payment of compensation in lieu of his land acquired by respondent authorities, but till date no compensation has been paid. (2) Learned counsel appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner has encroached the government's land, therefore he is not entitled for grant of compensation.

(3) Be that as it may, Collector, Mungeli is directed to look into the same and take a decision on the pending representation of the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law expeditiously. (4) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to make additional representation, if any before the Collector, Mungeli.
