1. The present is a repeat writ petition seeking for appropriate direction to the respondents to consider transferring the petitioner to his home district i.e. Bemetara, Chhattisgarh.

2. Considering the fact that petitioner has got a very short tenure of service left for retirement and according to the petitioner he is attaining the age of superannuation and retiring from service w.e.f. 31.10.2021 and at present he is posted at District Mungeli. He has been repeatedly approaching the

-2respondent authorities to accommodate him at his home district in District Bemetara so that at the time of his retirement he does not face much inconvenience to settle down in life post retirement and also he would be able to discharge the family liabilities and responsibilities more effectively at this time of his career.

3. Given the limited relief that the petitioner has made and also considering the very short period of time left for the petitioner to retire, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent no.2 to take appropriate decision sympathetically as regards the claim of being transferred to his home district before retirement.

4. Let respondent no.2 take appropriate decision within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. The petitioner may also file suitable representation in this regard to respondent no.2 which too may be considered by respondent no.2 while taking a decision.
