The claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment on the ground of death of the petitioner's mother on 21.03.2002. 2.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that at the time when the mother of the petitioner had died he was minor and he attain age of majority only in the year 2012 since than he is pursuing his claim for grant of compassionate appointment.

Counsel for the State submits that the claim of the petitioner is in an active consideration as is evident from the documents dated 07.06.2014 and 22.08.2014 whereby the certain recommendations have been made in respect of the claim of the petitioner. 4.

Deputy Advocate General for the State submits that in light of the Annexure P/11 and P/12 the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the respondents authorities to take decision on the claim of the petitioner as early as possible.

On the aforesaid submission made by the State counsel the instant writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the State authorities to take decision on the claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment at the earliest. Keeping in view the letter issued by the State Government on 07.06.2014 and 22.08.2014.

It is expected that the decision shall be taken promptly preferably within a period of 3 months from today.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition stands disposed of.
