The respondents have already filed a reply and along with the reply, Annexure R/1 dated 30.08.2018 has been filed, wherein they have stated that pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 06.03.2017 in WPS No. No. 6759/2016, they have already taken a decision and have held that the petitioner is not entitled for benefits as envisaged under F.R. 22-D. Given the facts that the respondents have passed an order on 30.08.2018, this Court is of the opinion that though at a belated stage, but the respondents have complied with the order, as such nothing further remains to be decided in this case.

The contempt petition accordingly stands disposed off. The respondents stand discharged of the contempt proceedings. Reserving the right of the petitioner to challenge the subsequent order dated 30.08.2018 by way of a fresh proceeding.
