2. This is an application filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the applicant, who is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No.222/2020 registered at Police Station Simga, District Baloda-Bazar Bhatapara (CG) for the offence punishable under Section 429 of the IPC and Sections 4, 5 & 10 of the Chhattisgarh Agriculture Cattle Preservation Act, 2004.

3. There is named FIR against the applicant that at the relevant time he along with co-accused Sanjay @ Golu were chopping cow to prepare beef.

4. It is argued that no seizure has been made from the applicant and he is implicated on the basis of statement of the coaccused.

5. Learned counsel for the State would oppose the bail application.

6. Having seen the case diary, it appears that the applicant is named in the FIR. He ran away from the place of occurrence. Thus, it is not a case that the applicant is roped only on the basis of statement of the co-accused.

7. No case for grant of anticipatory bail to the applicant is made out.

8. The bail application is dismissed.
