Hon'ble Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Order On Board 21/07/2016 The application for compassionate appointment has been made by the petitioners on the ground that the husband of petitioner No.1 and father of petitioner No.2 died on 03/11/1990. The petitioners have not placed on record nor have averred in the petition that at the time of death of the employee, there was any existing policy for grant of compassionate appointment much less terms and conditions of that policy.

Therefore, this petition cannot be entertained at this stage. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to revive this petition on the basis of any policy, if any, in force at the time of death of the employee. 3.
