Hon'ble Shri Justice Goutam Bhaduri Order 28/05/2018 Heard.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance of the petitioner is only to the extent that he has requested to name the square in the name of his grandfather who was freedom fighter for which correspondence though was made, Deputy Collector has forwarded the correspondence to the Chief Municipal Officer, Bhatapara by letter dated 26/03/2018 despite that same is not being decided. 2.

Though it is not within the domain of the High Court to direct to name any particular square or road in the name of the person but only prayer is made that correspondence which is been made by the Deputy Collector to Chief Municipal Officer, Bhatapara may be decided. 3.

Accordingly, it is directed that the Chief Municipal Officer, Bhatapara may take decision on the correspondence so made by the

Deputy Collector, Bhatapara by letter dated 26/03/2018 within reasonable time of 60 days.

With such observation, the petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this court has not made any observation on the merits of this case.
