In view of the Government Standing Policy that normally an employee who is going to retire within a period of less than one year is to either post in his home district or to place of his choice, the petitioner is entitled for consideration in the matter.

However, it is found that the representation has not been preferred by the petitioner.

In view of the above, in case, the petitioner prefers representation before respondent No.1 within a period of 15 days from today, the same

-2shall be considered and decided within a period of six months. Till decision of the petitioner's representation, the petitioner shall be allowed to continue at the present place of posting.

The petition is accordingly disposed off.
