What is under challenge in the present Writ Petition is the Order of attachment dated 6.7.2021 passed by Respondent No.2. 2.

During the course of hearing, it appears that the Petitioner has already filed a detailed representation to the higher authorities in the Department against the impugned Order of attachment and has also submitted the factual matrix of the case as it stands in terms of Petitioner.

Given the said facts and also taking into consideration the fact that the impugned Order which is only an order of attachment temporarily made pending some investigation/enquiry, the present Writ Petition at this juncture is disposed of directing Respondent No.2 to consider the representation of Petitioner on its own merits in accordance with law and take an appropriate decision thereon. 4.

It is made clear that Respondent No.2 shall take a decision on the said representation as early as possible, preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.
