1. Heard.

2. This is an application filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the applicant, who is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No.336/2020 registered at Police Station Seepat District Bilaspur (CG) for the offence punishable under Sections 376 and 506 of the IPC.

3. The applicant not only committed rape with the prosecutrix

MCRCA No. 1031 of 2020 before her marriage but after her marriage on 24.4.2019, he went to the village where the prosecutrix was married and committed sexual intercourse. Because of the applicant's activities, the husband of the prosecutrix has abandoned her. On one occasion, the applicant committed sexual intercourse by abducting the prosecutrix in a Bolero vehicle.

4. Considering the nature of allegations, this Court is not inclined to extend the benefit of Section 438 of Cr.P.C. to the applicant.
