1. The grievance of the petitioner in the instant case is that the petitioner retired from service under the respondent no.6 and he is entitled for the pensionary benefits that is otherwise payable to an employee under respondent no.6.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the PF dues which were earlier deposited with the EPF Office has since been transferred to the office of respondent no.6 and thereafter, the pension has to be paid by the office of respondent no.6.

3. The petitioner in this regard has also made a detailed representation vide Annexure P-5 which till date has not been decided.

4. Given the aforesaid factual matrix of the case, let the respondent no.6 take an appropriate decision in the case of the petitioner so far as granting of pension is concerned, particularly in the light of the EPF amount having been transferred by the EPF authorities to respondent no.6. Let an appropriate decision be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
