The transfer order is under challenge only on the sole ground that the petitioner is going to retire on 31/01/2017 i.e. less than 1 year. 2.
According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, as per Government policy dated 11/06/2016, those employees who are going to retire within a period of less than one year are to be considered for posting either in the home district or at any place of their option.

Considering the aforesaid submission that the petitioner is going to retire on 31/01/2017 i.e. less than 6 months, he may be permitted to prefer a representation before the respondent No. 2 within a period of ten days and respondent No. 2 shall consider and decide the same within a period of three weeks' keeping in view the Government policy dated 11/06/2016. 4.
For a period of four weeks, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner to compel him to join at the transferred place. 5.
