1. The present petition is filed against the order dated 25.08.2018 whereby permit has been granted under Section 72 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. As against the permit granted, as it is not renewal, the revision would lie before the State Transport Appellate Tribunal. The petitioner therefore shall be at liberty to challenge the order dated 25.08.2018 (Annexure P/1) before the S.T.A.T. if so advised as provided under Section 19 of the Motor Vehicles Act.

2. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Registry is directed to return the certified copy of the impugned order dated 25.08.2018 after retaining the photocopy of the same.

3. It is made clear that the Court has not expressed any opinion on merits or with respect to the limitation.
