1. Aggrieved by the impugned order dated 25.06.2021, the present writ petition has been filed. Vide the impugned order, the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment has been rejected. The rejection of the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment has been on the ground that adoption deed, on the basis of which the petitioner was claiming compassionate appointment, was not found to be legal and proper document.

2. During the course of hearing it has been found that the age of the petitioner was 54 years. The date of death of the deceased was of the year, 2015. Even at that point of time the petitioner was more than 45 years of age.

3. Given the aforesaid factual matrix of the case that the petitioner as on date has crossed the maximum upper age limit for obtaining employment under

-2the respondents, further even if the impugned order is quashed the petitioner is not going to benefit for the reason that the petitioner otherwise is age barred for getting employment under the respondents.

4. In view of the same, without entering into the merits of the case, the writ petition at this juncture stands rejected.
