Indisputably, the land acquisition proceedings for acquiring the petitioner's land are pending consideration before the Land Acquisition Officer, as is reflected from the documents filed as Annexure-P-2, P-3 & P-7.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite lapse of about a year's time, the land acquisition proceedings are not finalized even though possession of petitioner's land has already been obtained for raising construction of road.

Considering the limited grievance of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the concerned Land Acquisition Officer to complete the land acquisition proceedings within a period of 6 months from today.
