Agrawal Order On Board 01/06/2020 (1) In a pending trial, applicant and respondent No. 3 both made applications for grant of interim custody of the Truck bearing registration No. C.G.07/C.-7942, which were rejected by the trial Court but the Revisional Court has granted interim custody of the said vehicle in favour of respondent No. 3, against which, instant petition under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. has been preferred. (2) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the interim order passed by this Court on 28.10.2014 is operating and the trial is pending consideration whereas counsel for respondent No. 3 submits that interim custody of the aforesaid vehicle has already been given in favour of respondent No. 3.
(3) I have heard learned counsel appearing for the parties and considered their rival submissions made hereinabove and went through the record with utmost circumspection.
(4) Be that as it may, status quo with regard to custody of the vehicle in question, as exists today, shall be maintained by the parties and the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
