Agrawal Order On Board 18/06/2018 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that inadequate compensation has been paid to the petitioner in lieu of acquisition of his land. (2) Per contra, counsel for the State/respondent would submit that the petitioner has an alternative remedy under Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (henceforth "Act, 2013") for enhancement of the compensation.
(3) In view of above, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to avail the remedy under Section 64 of the Act, 2013 for enhancement of the compensation in accordance with law.
