1. It is argued that the petitioner has been singled out for not reinstating him even though other similarly placed employees/accused, who have been acquitted of the charges under the Prevention of Corruption Act by order passed by the Special Judge (Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988) Mahasamund on 30.9.2014 in Special Criminal Case No.5/09, have been reinstated. Learned counsel would particularly refer to the order (AnnexureP/4) by which several other employees have been reinstated.
2. Let the petitioner submit a representation before the Secretary, Government of Chhattisgarh, Department of Water Resources for his reinstatement upon his acquittal in the criminal case claiming similar treatment like the one extended to the other accused persons who have been acquitted in the
same case. The representation shall be submitted within 4 weeks from today and thereafter the concerned Secretary shall decide the same in accordance with law, within a further period of 8 weeks.
