1. It is submitted that the actual date of birth of the petitioner is 3.8.1986, which is reflected from the mark-sheets of the Primary School Certificate Examination and the Middle School Certificate Examination. Copy of which has been filed for perusal of this Court. The petitioner appeared in High School 10+2 examination in the year 2003. The mark-sheet supplied to the petitioner shows the date of birth erroneously as 3.8.1984. The petitioner has made several representations before the respondent authorities praying for correction of her date of birth in the record but the same has not been considered so far. Hence, this petition.
2. Learned State counsel representing for respondent No.1 opposes the submissions and submits that the petition has been filed after the delay of about 18 years, therefore, it is not fit to be entertained.
-23. Considered on the submissions and perused the documents filed alongwith the petition. The petitioner is granted liberty to file a representation before respondent No.2 praying for correction of her date of birth in the mark-sheet. On such application filed by the petitioner, respondent No.2 shall be obliged to consider on the same after making verification and enquiry, if necessary, pass appropriate orders within a period of 60 days.
