1. The present contempt petition has been filed alleging non compliance of the order dated 05.10.2018 passed in WPS No. 6551 of 2018. This Court had disposed off the writ petition directing the respondents No. 2 & 3 to take an appropriate decision in consultation with the respondent No. 1, the allegation is that they have till date not complied with the said order.

2. Perusal of records would show that firstly, this Court had not given any fix period of time within which the compliance had to be made. Further the only observation that this Court had made while disposing off the writ petition was that the respondents No. 2 & 3

should take a decision independently. Though, more than 8 months have passed, it appears that the respondent till date has not taken any decision.

3. Given the fact that this Court had not given any fix date/time, accordingly, the present contempt petition in its present form stands disposed off. It is expected to respondents to take an early decision so far as the claim raised by the Applicants/Petitioners are concerned.

4. Reserving the right of the petitioners to approach the Court if the respondents do not take a decision within a reasonable period. It shall also be the duty of the petitioners to apprise the respondents so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned.
