The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.20/2018 registered in Police Station Ajak Korba, District Korba (C.G.) for offence punishable under section 354 of IPC and Section 8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and Section 3(2)(5A) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

As per the prosecution case, on 11/05/2018 the victim when went to purchase ice cream in the shop of the applicant, the applicant caught hold of her dragged her into the shop and thereafter tried to outrage her modesty. Thereby offence has been committed.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that charge sheet has been filed, applicant has been inculpated for the reason that other cases are pending, therefore the applicant may be released on bail. 4.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, charge sheet has been filed and also considering the degree of offence, this court is

inclined to release the applicant on bail.

Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant shall be released on his furnishing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of concerned trial court for his regular appearance before it as and when directed.
