1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner's application under Section 13 (1) (a) (b) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 for grant of decree of divorce is pending consideration before learned Principle Family Court, Durg since 07/12/2017 but the respondent has still not been served with notice.

2. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner at length.

3. Be that as it may, petitioner is at liberty to file appropriate application before the family Court for expediting the service of notice to the respondent. Learned family Court would do well to consider petitioner's application and take effective steps in order to get the respondent served with notice as also expedite the hearing of the suit in accordance with law.

4. With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No cost(s).

5. A copy of this order be sent to the concerned family Court by e-mail/fax for needful and compliance.
