1. At the outset counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that as regards the non granting of the benefits of 7th Pay Commission to the petitioners, they have already approached the respondents by way of representations. According to the counsel for the petitioners, let appropriate direction be given to the respondents to consider and decide the petitioners representation in accordance with provisions governing the field so far as grant of salary and revision of pay is concerned.

2. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners on its own merits in accordance with law at the earliest preferably within 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
