Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that petitioner has made an application under Section 18 of Land Acquisition Act, 1894 for referring the matter to the Civil Court before the learned Collector, District- Janjgir Champa on 02.06.2014 but that has not been considered and decided till date and, therefore, directions may be issued to expedite the same.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable and is accordingly allowed.

Be that as it may, the Collector, District- Janjgir Champa is directed to consider and decide the petitioner's application filed under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of the order after hearing both the parties.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
