1. The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.29/2020 registered in Police Station Rajim, District Gariyaband for offence under Section 307/34 of the IPC.

2. The applicant along with co-accused Ajay Thakur dashed injured Narendra Kumar Sahu with the help of their Tata-407 vehicle and thereafter this applicant tried to strangulate the injured Narendra through a wire. The injured has sustained abrasions at other places including over the neck, however, there is no ligature mark over the

neck.

3. Learned State Counsel and counsel for the complainant/injured would oppose the prayer for grant of bail.

4. Considering that the applicant is in jail since 27.7.2020 and charge sheet has already been filed, as also the nature of injuries sustained by the injured, this Court is inclined to release the applicant on bail.

5. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
