1. Heard.

2. This is an application filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the applicant, who is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No.270/2020 registered at Police Station Dalli Rajhara, District Balod (CG) for the offence punishable under Section 304-B of the IPC.

3. The applicant's wife Ms. Sanjana Sahu (deceased) committed

MCRCA No. 1097 of 2020 suicide by hanging in her matrimonial house on 10.3.2020. She was married with the applicant on 10.6.2019.

4. The material available in the case diary including the statements of the witnesses recorded during merg enquiry would reveal that the applicant was demanding dowry and committing mental and physical cruelty on the deceased.

5. Considering the material available in the case diary, no case for grant of anticipatory bail is made out.

6. The bail application is dismissed.
