Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner would submit that the petitioner's land has been acquired by the respondent authorities / State Government for construction of canal in lieu of which neither compensation has been assessed nor it is granted to the petitioner till date. The petitioner has also made several representations before the respondent authorities but to no avail.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Be that as it may, the Collector, District- Jangir Champa is directed to

examine the petitioner's case and thereafter proceed strictly in accordance with law and take a decision expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
