For Respondent No.3 & 4: Shri Mateen Siddiqui, Advocate Order On Board 06/10/2015 Grievance of the petitioner is that though land of the petitioner has been acquired under an award for construction of public road, but compensation amount has not been paid to the petitioner till date. According to the petitioner, he is not only entitled to the compensation amount but also interest on delayed payment. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondent-Corporation submits that if the petitioner claims for release of the compensation amount and also claim for interest, the same shall be duly considered and decided by the Corporation within a period of six weeks. 3.

In view of aforesaid submission, this petition is finally disposed off with a direction to respondent No.3 & 4 to consider and decide petitioner's claim for

compensation amount as also interest within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It goes without saying that if grievance of the petitioner is not redressed, it will be open for the petitioner to take recourse to such remedy as may be available to him under the law.
