1. The limited grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that the petitioner was appointed as Assistant Grade-III on 28.12.2015 and he is continuously working on probation and till date 4 years 8 months have been passed but the respondents have not taken any decision so far as the confirmation of his service is concerned.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that according to clause 8(2) of the C.G. Civil Services (General Conditions of Service) Rules, 1961 after period of initial probation only 1 year period can be extended. He prays a limited prayer that the respondents may be directed to consider the case of the petitioner at the earliest.
3. Considering the limited prayer made by the counsel for the petitioner, without commenting anything on the merits and entitlement of the petitioner at this juncture, let the petitioner makes a detailed representation to the
respondents within a period of 15 days from today and on such representation being made, let the respondents consider the claim of the petitioner on its merits and pass a suitable order in accordance with the rules governing the field. Let this decision be taken within a further period of 90 days from the date of receipt of representation.
