1. Heard on the application to set aside abatement.
2. On 06.09.2018, Criminal Appeal No.766 of 2002, was dismissed as it abated for non substitution of the legal representative of deceased Purushottam Barade within 30 days of his death i.e. 12.09.2013.
3. Deceased Purushottam Barade had preferred that appeal against the conviction under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
4. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case application is allowed and abatement of said criminal appeal is set aside. Criminal Appeal No.766 of 2002 is restored in its original number.
