The petitioner prays for a limited relief of a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representation that the petitioner has made firstly for grant of promotion from an earlier date than that was granted to the petitioner and secondly in respect of non availability of second promotion under the policy governing the field so far as persons with disability are concerned.

2. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent No.1&2 to take appropriate decision on the representation of the petitioner strictly in accordance with rules governing the field. The petitioner would also be at liberty to make a fresh representation supported with all relevant records and documents in support of his contention.
