1. The petitioners, Sweepers in the Department of Veterinary Services, have preferred this writ petition seek direction to the
respondents to grant them the pay scale of Rs.2500-3200/-.
2. According to learned counsel for the petitioners, similarly situated Sweepers namely Panchram Mourya, Sridhar Goel, Madhuram, Nagendra Singh Dhakar and Satyawan amongst others have been paid the above say pay scale, however, it appears, by clerical mistake, the petitioners' names have been left out while the said pay scale was granted to others.
3. Considering the controversy involved in this writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with direction that if the petitioners submit fresh representation within a period of 15 days from today, the competent authority shall decide the said representation on merits, by a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a further period of three months. The authority shall specifically deal with the ground raised by the petitioners that the similarly situated Sweepers have been granted the benefit of pay scale of Rs.2500-3200/-.
