NAFR HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH AT BILASPUR WRIT PETITION (S) NO. 4025 OF 2021 • Rajendra Kumar Jangde, S/o Late Butari Das Jangde, aged about 42 years, R/o Ram Nagar, Ward No.02, Post Kawardha, Tehsil and District Kawardha (CG) ... Petitioner versus 1.

State of Chhattisgarh, through the Secretary, Department of School Education, Mantralaya, Mahanadi Bhawan, Atal Nagar, Nawa Raipur, District Raipur (CG) 2.

The District Collector, District Mungeli (CG) 3.

District Education Officer, District Mungeli (CG) ... Respondents For Petitioner :

Mr. Sandeep Yadav, Advocate.

For Respondents/State :

Mr. Ishan Verma, Panel Lawyer.

Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board /08/2021 1.

The present Writ Petition has been filed by Petitioner seeking for appropriate direction to Respondents to consider and decide his claim for compassionate appointment.

2.

Perusal of record would show that the father of Petitioner died of Corona Virus on 23.4.2021 and thereafter the Petitioner submitted his application for grant of compassionate appointment only on 2.7.2021 and then in just about two weeks thereafter the Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition. 3.

Though this Court is of the opinion that the present Writ Petition is filed too early for any appropriate direction to Respondents, yet reluctantly the present Writ Petition is being disposed of directing the Respondents to consider the application of Petitioner on its own merits, in accordance with the policy governing the filed of compassionate appointment, at the earliest, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. 4.

Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) /sharad/ JUDGE
