On the last two occasions on which the matter was taken up for hearing i.e. 17.11.2016 and 01.02.2017, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. On the last date of hearing, this Court had also ordered for issuance of SPC to the petitioner fixing the date of hearing on 20.03.2017. However, till date there has been no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

Even today also, when the matter is called out, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

In the given circumstances, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the petition for want of prosecution. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed for want of prosecution.
