(1) Petitioners have preferred this writ petition to direct respondent authorities to make selection and appointment on the basis of written examination only as the test of Computer Proficiency has been vitiated for want of proper and equal opportunity to all the candidates and to quash the result of the Computer Proficiency Test.

(2) The petitioners are working as General Mazdoor and posted at

SECL Korba Area, Korba.

(3) Counsel for the petitioners would submit that the instant writ petition may be disposed of by giving direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representations of the petitioners, which will be filed by them soon before the respondent No.2.

(4) Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case and submission made by the counsel for the petitioners, the instant writ petition is disposed of with this direction that the petitioners may file fresh representation before respondent No.2 for redressal of their grievances within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If such representations are filed by the petitioners before respondent No.2 and in turn, respondent No.2 shall consider and decide such representations within a further period of 45 days from the date of filing of such representations according to law and procedure.

(5) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
