1. The limited prayer that the petitioner has made in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondent no.2 to consider and decide the application dated 07.02.2020 for counter signature on the Permanent Stage Carriage Permit, on the route Bagicha to Bilaspur via Kansabel, Pathalgaon, Korba, Seepat and back one single trip daily.

2. The limited prayer is not opposed by the State counsel.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondent no.2 to consider and decide the application of the petitioner dated 07.02.2020 on its merits in accordance with law.

4. It is made clear that in case if their system of granting counter signature does not exist any further, the respondent no.2 shall intimate the petitioner in this regard as early as possible and the Transport Authority who is empowered to issue the permit on permanent stage carriage shall take a decision on the application of the petitioner on its merits within a further period of 60 days.
