The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No. 197/2015 (wrongly mentioned as 265/15 in the order sheet) registered in Police Station Jaijaipur, District Janjgir-Champa (C.G.) for offence punishable under section 489 (b), (c), 34 of IPC and section 25 of the Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, the applicant along with co-accused went to a shop and tried to use fake currency note. On being suspicion the matter was reported by the owner of the shop to the police and thereafter applicant was apprehended.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that only three notes were recovered and he himself does not know as to notes were fake and therefore applicant may be released on bail.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.
Having regard to the statement of Suraj Dewangan as also memorandum statement followed by recovery wherein notes were
recovered along with cartridge and the laptop. Taking into account the gravity of allegation that the applicant tried to circulate fake notes, this court is not inclined to release the applicant on bail. 6.
Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed. Certified copy as per rules.
