For Non-Applicant : Shri Gagan Tiwari, Deputy GA. Proceeding Through Video Conferencing Hon'ble Shri Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra Order On Board 14/10/2020 :

1. The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.340/2020 registered in Police Station City Kotwali, District Dhamtari for offence under Section 363, 354, 506 and 294 of the IPC and Section 8 of the Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

2. The applicant abducted the prosecutrix on the point of knife at about 12.30 in the mid night on 29.7.2020 and outraged her modesty when she was sitting in the motorcycle being driven by the applicant.

3. The prosecutrix has narrated the incident to her relatives whose

statements are available in the case diary.

4. Considering the gravity of offence, I am not inclined to release the applicant on bail at this stage. Accordingly, the application is rejected reserving liberty in favour of the applicant to revive his prayer after examination of the prosecutrix.
