The limited relief sought for by the petitioner in this petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents to decide the death cum retiral dues payable to the petitioner at the earliest. 2.

The Husband of the petitioner died on 19.04.2021 thereafter the petitioner has been approaching the authorities concerned for the release of family pension and other dues payable to her but till date the same has not been finalized and settled.

Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondents No.2 to 5 to immediately take all necessary steps in ensuring that all admissible dues including pensionary benefits payable to the petitioner on the death of her Husband is processed, finalized and released at the earliest preferably

-2within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that in case if the admissible dues are not cleared within the aforesaid period of 90 days, the entire amount shall carry interest @ 10 percent per annum from the date of death of the deceased employee and the interest part so payable to the petitioner would be recoverable from the erring officials who have failed in promptly processing the claim of the petitioner.
