1. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for an appropriate direction to the respondents for considering his case for regularization.
2. According to the petitioner, he was initially appointed as a daily wage employee in January, 1989. The petitioner continued to work on the said post till 01.07.2004 when he was abruptly discontinued. The discontinuation of the petitioner was subjected to challenge before the Labour Court and the Labour Court has passed an award in his favour of reinstatement without backwages vide award dated 08.08.2006. The petitioner thereafter has been taken back in service and continues to discharge his duties till date.
3. Given the said facts and also taking note of the circular of the State Government dated 05.03.2008 dealing with regularization of daily wage employees, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing
-2the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for regularization in accordance with circular of the State Govt. dated 05.03.2008. Let an appropriate decision be taken within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
