The Petitioner through the present writ petition seeks for a direction to the police authorities to take cognizance to a complaint made by the Petitioner against Respondent No.4. 2.

Needless to mention that the law in this regard is well settled by the Supreme Court in the case of Lalita Kumari v. Govt. of U.P. & Others (AIR 2014 SC 187) and later on in the case of Mrs. Priyanka Srivastava and another v. State of U.P. and others (2015 AIR SCW 2075), and in addition the Petitioner also has other statutory remedies available. 3.

In view of the aforesaid facts and reasons, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
