We have heard Counsel for the Petitioner and the Additional Advocate General on behalf of the State.

The Writ Petition was originally filed challenging the order dated 07.02.2014 of the Engineer-in-Chief, Public Works Depari:ment, Raipur, denying renewal of registration as a contractor which had expired in 2013.

During the pendency of the Writ Petition, the registration has been renewed on 26.04.2014.
In view of the subsequent development, we are of the opinion that the writ application has become infructuous.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed.
