The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No. 178/2014 registered in Police Station Chirmiri, District Korea (C.G.) for offence punishable under section 304-B read with section 34 of Indian Penal Code. 2.

As per the prosecution case applicant was married with Ruchi Dubey on 27/06/2007 and it is case of the prosecution that applicant being husband demanded motorcycle and Rs.1.5 lakhs from the wife for which she was subjected to cruelty. Consequently, she committed suicide by hanging on 15/05/2014.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that applicant has been falsely implicated in this case and only general allegations have been attributed against this applicant and no specific allegations have been averred, therefore the applicant may be released on bail. 4.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.

Having regard to the statement of the witnesses wherein specific allegations have been made against the applicant who is husband for demand of dowry. Taking into consideration the fact that death has

occurred within seven years of marriage, therefore, this court is not inclined to release the applicant on bail.

Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed. Certified copy as per rules.
