1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition seems to be non granting of second and third higher pay-scale which the petitioner is entitled for on completion of 20 years and 30 years of continuous service on one post.

2. The pleadings reveal that there are already recommendations made by the Department to the Directorate for considering the claim of the petitioner for grant of second and third higher pay-scale in-terms of the circular governing the field.

3. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, the writ petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the respondents No. 2 & 3 to

-2take an appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner, particularly taking into consideration the letter dated 17.01.2020 (Annexure P/6) issued in this regard. Let an appropriate decision be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
