1. The limited grievance that the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents to comply with the order Annexure P/3 from the effective date as reflected in the said order.

2. According to the petitioner, the benefits of revised pay-scale, which was payable to the petitioner on completion of 8 years of service in-terms-of

the circular of the respondents, was ordered to be paid to the petitioner vide Annexure P/3 dated 27.07.2019 and in the list, it is specifically shown that the petitioner is entitled for the same from 12.11.2018. However, the petitioner has not been given the benefits from the said date but has been given the benefits only prospectively from the date of issuance of the order dated 27.07.2019. The Petitioner's claim is for the arrears of payment of the said revised pay-scale for the period between 12.11.2018 till the payment was made in July 2019.

Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, subject to verification of the facts so far as entitlement is concerned, the present writ petition at this juncture is disposed off directing the respondents No. 2 to 4 to ensure that the benefit of Annexure P/3 as ordered is extended in its letter and spirit by clearing the arrears of payment at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. If the arrears are not released within the stipulated period of 90 days, the entire amount of arrears shall carry interest @ 10% per annum from the date of the order dated 27.07.2019, till the actual payment is made.
