For Non-Applicant : Shri VR Tiwari, Additional AG. Proceeding Through Video Conferencing Hon'ble Shri Prashant Kumar Mishra, Ag CJ Order On Board 13/08/2021 :

1. The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.244/2020 registered in Police Station Mohan Nagar, District Durg for offence under Section 307 of the IPC and Section 25 & 27 of the Arms Act.

2. This is the 2nd bail application on behalf of the applicant. The first bail application was dismissed with liberty to revive the prayer after examination of victim Ganeshwar Samant Rai.

3. Admittedly, the victim/injured has not yet been examined before the trial Court.

4. In view of the above, as also for the reason that the applicant has caused injuries over chest of the victim by means of knife, I am not inclined to release the applicant on bail. Accordingly, the Application is rejected. However, liberty reserved earlier shall remain intact.
