1. The limited grievance which the petitioner has raised in this petition is non granting of the benefit of 7th Pay Commission w.e.f. 01.01.2016 whereas it has been released to the petitioner only from 01.12.2018.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a low paid Class-IV employee and similar benefits have been extended to all other Class-IV employees in the department except for the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner has also made a detailed representation Annexure P/3 dated 28.02.2019 in this regard but till date no decision has been taken by the authorities.

Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has raised, this court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents No.2&4 to take an appropriate decision so far as granting of benefit of 7th Pay Commission to the petitioner is concerned w.e.f. 01.01.2016 instead of 01.12.2018. Let an appropriate decision be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the respondents No.2&4 so far as order passed by this court is concerned.
